The Doppio is our "gateway" dark roast. That is, if you tend to gravitate towards darker coffee, but not ridiculously dark coffee, the Doppio Torrefatto is your blend. We roast this coffee dark enough to minimize the acidity and bring out the body and "roasty" character that dark drinkers enjoy. On the other hand, if you want ridiculously dark coffee, we have that too: it's called Caffè Inferno.
